Progression and Operator Traits
- How do Operator Traits work in DMZ? Each Operator gets 18 trait points, with at most 9 in one tree. Your first point in a tree buys a random Minor, and Majors come in either/or pairs (community trackers place them at 3, 6 and 9 points). Picks stay until you Prestige or dismiss the Operator. - What happens when you Prestige an Operator in DMZ? Once all 18 trait points are spent and you meet the gear and cash requirements, Prestiging resets the Operator's traits and adds one random permanent Pro trait. An Operator keeps at most 3 Pros. Read the answer
- Which Operator Traits do players pick in DMZ? Early community picks are Field Crafting for looting and farming, Possum as a second life for solo play, and Overwatch with UAV Upgrade for squad fights. Thermal Padding and Viper Sense are the picks for staying hidden, though Advanced UAVs still ping you. These are player opinions, not tested results. Read the answer
